Blizzard Zero G 105 Alpine Touring Ski
Zero G 105 Alpine Touring Ski
The eternal quandary: how much performance are you willing to sacrifice to shave significant grams from your kit? The lighter the ski the more efficient the uphill and, perhaps more importantly, the more energy you'll have in reserve for the descent. But if the ski's lightweight characteristics fall short of your downhill ambitions, the ski might get pushed around. Inversely, lugging up hundreds of extra grams for downhill performance could potentially empty the gas tank before you even lock down your tech bindings for the descent. And round and round we go...
Blizzard, judging from a legion of devotees, have mostly cracked the code with the Zero G 105. A feather-weight paulownia woodcore couples with new Carbon Drive 3.0 technology to create a ski that climbs fast and efficient while providing an exceptionally fun and confident downhill experience. Basically, Carbon Drive 3.0 employs a full-length carbon fiber chassis coupled with the super-light wood core to shave those important grams while still ensuring optimal torsional rigidity and appropriate flex. Playful, stable, and responsive.
Simply put, Blizzard's Zero G105 is one of the most balanced skis on the market, boasting a fast and efficient uphill with the guts and grit to get you down in style.
