At only 580 grams, this shovel hovers between the light and ultralight categories, although retaining enough tensile strength to plow through any snow type you encounter. A sharp cutting edge blasts through hard pack while the shaft telescopes to an 83 cm working length and rapidly closes for packing away. A T-grip with switchover fuction for left- and right-handers rounds out the package.
