There's a lot to say about the Hoji Free 110 ski boot, such as, "This revolutionary boot skis like an alpine boot and hikes like a ski mountaineering boot." But the Hoji Lock is too important to dilly dally around. Thanks to this innovative locking mechanism, you can toggle between ski and walk mood with the simple flip of a lever. Easy is good, and it doesn't get any easier than that.
With its increased rigidity, a unique glass fiber-reinforced Grilamid shell material, and a progressive flex of 110, the Hoji Free 110 possesses all of the characteristics to deliver best-in-class power transfer and top downhill performance. With a last width of 102 mm, three micro-adjustable buckles, and the Ultra Lock Strap, the foot sits ideally positioned. In downhill mode, the Hoji Free locks out at a forward lean of 17° (with spoiler). Removing the additional back spoiler changes the forward lean to 11 degrees.
On the ascent, touring maniacs also get extra benefits: The V-shaped tongue and a cuff rotation of 55 degrees mean maximum freedom of movement. With its light weight of 1,550 grams, tacking on a few extra meters of vertical won’t be an issue since you’ll still have enough strength left to enjoy a well-earned descent.
