This pared-down version of Mammut's popular Trion series can be lightened even more by taking off the top flap and removing the T-frame and hip belt padding. In this configuration, the Trion Light 38L pack weighs only 630 g — a great option for climbing. For backcountry skiing and riding, the pack offers an avy gear pocket in the front to keep safety gear separate.
Bottom line: Light and designed for all-year use.
