The Metolius SafeTech line of harnesses are designed with safety as the primary feature. Each compartment, wherever possible, is engineered to withstand a load of 10 kiloNewtons. The harness also has two belay/rapel loops, and the standard four gear loops (10 kN), rear haul loop (12 kN) and elasticized leg loops (6 kN).
