With Summer long gone we invite you to indulge in the wonders of Winter with our curated selection of rental offerings, including: both frontside and backcountry skis/boots/poles, snowshoes, splitboard packages, mountaineering boots/axes/crampons, technical ice climbing axes and crampons, climbing helmets, and a bevy of avalanche safety gear.

RENTAL RESERVATIONS
Rent and reserve our Winter equipment on the new rental website!
When making an online reservation, please be aware that boot sizing can vary by manufacturer and we can only guarantee that the size and model you reserve will be available for your rental. All Reservations must be paid for in advance. ALL reservation cancellations are subject to a 10% processing fee. A cancellation fee equal to a 30% charge for all of the items reserved will apply if the reservation is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to scheduled pickup.
CHARGES
Here's the lowdown on our tiered rental system. Your pickup day is on us! Your first full rental day is associated with a higher initial price, while consecutive days follow land at a lower price-point. There is a one day minimum charge for all rentals and a maximum rental period of 14 days. All parties that will be using the rental equipment must be present to complete any applicable paperwork and liability waivers, you cannot rent equipment for some else!
Please return items to the shop no later than 6pm.
Returning equipment late is subject to extra day charges plus a $50 late fee if another customer’s rental is affected.
CLEANING, DAMAGE & REPLACEMENT
Wilderness Exchange Unlimited does not provide insurance covering loss, damage, or theft of any equipment. All rental equipment is to be returned in the same condition it was
rented -- clean, undamaged and in full working order.
We will assess repairs based on the expense necessary to return the item to rentable condition. By signing the demo form, you agree to pay all necessary damage charges. This includes, but is not limited to: damage to ski bases/edges/bindings/etc, bent poles, excessive ice axe or crampon wear, broken buckles or laces on boots, damaged sleeping bags, torn tents, etc.
In the event that item(s) are lost, stolen, or destroyed, the customer is responsible for the full replacement value of the item.
Clean off ALL equipment before returning to Wilderness Exchange. Dirty equipment will be subject to a $10 cleaning fee, no exceptions.
Wipe equipment dry with a towel to prevent corrosion of metal surfaces. To avoid charges, treat our demo equipment as if it was your own.
Please bring a valid Driver's License and Credit Card at pickup.
