Grivel Tech Machine Ice Tool
Tech Machine Ice Tool
Grivel's Tech Machine Ice Tool was built for versatility, from waterfall ice to mixed routes or serious work in the alpine. With a balanced swing, a curved shaft allowing reaches above overhanging corners or on cauliflowers, a quiet pick plant without vibration, and a lightweight design that won't sap those guns, this axe defines precision.
Another nifty trick in Grivel's bag is the interchangeable nature of their Vario System picks and accessories. Although the Tech Machine is stocked with the Ice Vario head for ice climbing and technical alpinism, there are a bevy of after-market picks to choose from, depending on your needs. Likewise, the Tech Machine comes with the Simple Vario on the backside - a naked back - although you can swap the Simple with an adze, hammer, or the minimal Mini Hammer.
