The revolutionary G20 Plus is built around the forged steel front point, which serves as a kind of backbone for the entire crampon (yup, it's replaceable). The asymmetrical design places the frontpoint directly beneath the big toe, extending all the way back to the heel. This design, reminiscent of a rock shoe, transmits all your power into that big ol' tooth with no flex. Ideal transmission like this not only means power but stellar security.
As an added bonus, the G20 Plus is one of the lightest technical crampons (with removeable frontpoints) on the market, making them an ideal companion on alpine routes. Weight savings account for the single rear antibott plate on each crampon.
