The classic Sterling IonR has been reimagined to be more durable lighter than ever, while retaining the signature characteristics climbers always raved about: the comfortable handling sheath and the ideal 9.4mm diameter. To enhance the performance profile, Sterling updated the design by further twisting the sheath yarns in order to reduce friction and radically increase longevity. The IonR performs like a champ across mulitple climbing disciplines without playing favorites. It also includes DryXP, a UIAA certified water repellent treatment.
