Atomic's Atomic Hawx Prime XTD 120 CT GW is equipped with everything you'll need to crush the descent while remaining top-of-class on the skin track and ascent. Let's dig into touring ability first. Gripwalk soles with tech inserts in both the toe and heel allow for fulsome touring binding compatibility, while the fantastic Backland Free/Lock 4.0 ski-to-walk mechanism allows for a natural and fluid stride and huge range of motion. Trust us -- this will not feel like a touring boot.

Although employing a slightly softer plastic than the top-end XTD 130, this boot is hungry for blasting down with the powerful Energy Backbone and a 120-flex, a perfect range for advanced and expert skiers. 

Slightly higher volume feet will rejoice in the Hawx Prime, while the pre-shaped heel, ankle and tongue feature a layer of supportive, heat-moldable material, offering a substantial 6mm (forefoot) and 10mm (ankle) range of moldable expansion. Atomic's Mimic Gold Liner molds like a dream, as well, creating a fully personalized shell, cuff and liner in minutes.
