Reminiscent of a trail running vest, the Free Vest 15 Removable Airbag 3.0 (Airbag Ready) Backpack reduces bulk and enhances mobility when your backcountry adventure needs nothing more than the essentials and every bit of avalanche safety gear you can muster.

Compatible with Mammut's lightweight Airbag System 3.0, the Free Vest's 15 liter volume capably carries skis, splitboards, and snowshoes, while dedicated compartments store goggles, hydration system, and radio. A high-visibility orange main compartment swallows up your probe, shovel, and extra gear, as well. The pack's exterior boasts an integrated helmet holder and two ice axe/pole attachments, compression straps to keep the load close to your body, and a daisy chain loop to secure additional gear.

Mammut's Removable Airbag System 3.0 and cartridges can be purchased separately. And please remember, using an airbag backpack does not guarantee survival in an avalanche.
