Matt Lloyd from Mountain Strong Denver will be coming in for a clinic on training. Learn how to: train for the mountains, avoid injury, and build sport specific strength and endurance. We will also cover recovery methods, weightlifting for climbers and skiers, and tactical approaches to stepping up your mental game. Refreshments will be generously provided by Crooked Stave Brewing.
Matt Lloyd is a climber, co-owner and coach at Mountain Strong Denver- a gym who caters to mountain athletes and has developed an itch for sharing his secrets success in the vertical world with others. In Matt’s 25 years of climbing he has red-pointed 5.14, climbed big walls in Patagonia, and summited (and flailed on) technical alpine peaks around the world. These experiences over a lifetime have taught him the lessons he shares in his classes which can be described as part fitness and part mental toughness. Matt holds a CF-L2 and is a certified USAW Sports Performance Coach.
