Backcountry Ski Rentals - NOW OPEN!
It has been a rough start for our Colorado snowpack, with sharks and avalanches abound, but we have finally decided that our snowpack is deep enough to open up backcountry ski rentals. If you are interested in renting backcountry equipment or have questions about backcountry ski rentals, please come into the shop or give us a call at 303-964-0708.

Rental equipment can be reserved online through Outdoor GearO by clicking the links below.
When renting a Backcountry Package, select the ski first and you will be prompted to add boots and poles.
When making an online reservation, please be aware that ski boot sizing can vary by manufacturer and we can only guarantee that the size and model you reserve will be available for your rental. All Reservations must be paid for in advance. ALL reservation cancellations are subject to a 10% processing fee. A cancellation fee equal to a single day charge for all of the items reserved will apply if the reservation is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to scheduled pickup.
There is a one day minimum charge for all rentals and a maximum rental period of 14 days. All parties that will be using the rental equipment must be present to complete any applicable paperwork and liability waivers, you cannot rent equipment for some else!
Returning equipment late is subject to extra day charges plus a $50 late fee if another customer’s rental is affected.
Rental deposits are authorized and held on the credit card that you use to pay for your rental until the items are returned. No other form of payment will be accepted for demo deposits.
CLEANING, DAMAGE & REPLACEMENT
Wilderness Exchange Unlimited does not provide insurance covering loss, damage, or theft of any equipment. We will assess repairs based on the expense necessary to return the item to rentable condition. By signing the demo form, you agree to pay all necessary damage charges. This includes, but is not limited to: core-shots and base damage, top-sheet chips, edge damage or corrosion, binding damage, bent poles, excessive ice axe or crampon wear, broken buckles or laces on boots, damaged skins, etc.
In the event that item(s) are lost, stolen, or destroyed, the customer is responsible for the full replacement value of the item.
Clean off ALL equipment before returning to Wilderness Exchange. Dirty equipment will be subject to a $10 cleaning fee, no exceptions.
Wipe equipment dry with a towel to prevent corrosion of metal surfaces. To avoid charges, treat our demo equipment as if it was your own.
