Snow has already tumbled to the streets in Denver. Arapahoe Basin, Winter Park, and Keystone are open. The Farmer’s Almanac is calling for a big, fluffy season. You know what all that means? It means it’s time to do some celebrating!
Join us for the WildyX & Friends of Berthoud Pass 6th Annual Snow Stoke Ski Party! This is the event for the Denver and Front Range backcountry community to come together and gesticulate wildly about the upcoming season, raise awareness about avalanche and general winter recreation safety in our rowdy backcountry, and raise funds for our amazing partners over at Friends of Berthoud Pass. Since 2004, FOBP has been dedicated to avalanche awareness, access for backcountry users, grassroots education, and stewardship right in our backyard. As a not-for-profit charitable organization, the Snow Stoke Ski Party is our chance to give back to FOBP for all their diligent educational and stewardship work, raising the funds necessary to keep their crucial mission alive and healthy for the entire community.
This is going to be a triple-dip La Nina-sized bash! Tommyknocker Brewery will provide delicious adult libations, while reps from Black Diamond, Blizzard, Dynafit, Icelantic, Jones, Mammut, Ortovox, Salomon, Scarpa, Weston and others will be on hand to show off their rad new equipment and chat about…well, whatever you want! WildyX and our sales reps will also toss some epic gear into a raffle, with a few lucky folks walking away with a set of Blizzard Hustle Skis, Jones pack and board bag, Dynafit bindings and skins, and a ton of other bonkers prizes (we’re still filling the kitty as you read this). We’ll also be tossing out free schwag, as any good Snow Stoke party should.
In our lobby, FOBP will also be holding an avalanche panel discussion with local backcountry experts to dust off your avy skills for the upcoming season. Every single cent dropped into our donation jar and every last penny gathered from raffle tickets goes straight to the fine humans at FOBP!
Let’s do some partying, let’s do some mingling, let’s do some fundraising for FOBP! This is a free event, but be aware, we do have limited space and as always its first come-first serve.
