Scarpa Freedom SL Ski Boot - Women's
Created with design input from big-mountain ski pioneer Chris Davenport, the Freedom SL is the vanguard in Freeride beef boots. It's stiff but it doesn't tour like it due to a 27° cuff range. The company's proprietary Carbon Core Technology produces a 120 flex index and alpine ski performance — this boot's construction truly ups the anté in AT boot performance. And the new touring mechanism creates barely any friction — just what you need on the uphill.
The Freedom SL is made with Pebax, which is lighter and stiffer at the same time. It also has great walk ergonomics and interchangeable soles. The soles are bolted through the carbon-fiber frame so they are compatible with any ski binding, from alpine to tech bindings such as Dynafit's. Best yet, the sole design improves strength and power transfer to the ski, whether you’re charging a resort’s test pieces or tackling big lines in the backcountry. A very versatile ski boot that weighs less than 4 pounds each.
