The Montane men’s snowshoe was designed to handle variable mountainous terrain, with the Atlas V-Frame design and time-tested Spring-Loaded Suspension system for a sturdy and versatile platform. Precision-fit Wrapp Swift bindings have the added bonus of heel lift bar to ease calf strain.
- Spring-Loaded Suspension (SLS) keeps the snowshoe close underfoot for easy maneuvering and suspends your foot so it can move freely
- SLS absorbs impact and lets your foot flex naturally side-to-side
- SLS enhances traction control as the flex provides deeper crampon penetration into steep or side-angle slopes
- Aluminum V-Frame gives you an efficient, natural stride and lets the 'shoe track straight in deep snow
- Tapered tail pulls less snow as you step forward, saving your energy
- All-Trac toe crampon provides traction in all directions, with wider traction tabs on the sides and corners, and sharp front and rear points for confident hiking
- Traverse Trac Rails have sharp ridges on the side to augment the downhill function of the heel cleat for solid footing, even on firm sidehill terrain
- Flexible Nytex decking is forgiving and quiet when hiking in the cold
